In my Nanowrimo story, the lead character Alan is being introduced a new word that holds the power to recreate his world... to change, once and for all his perception and experience of his world. Can this simple word really shift his paradigm and save him from the voice of death, the ceaseless thoughts of suicide that have been dominating his mind?
Namaste is a Sanskrit word that acknowledges the inestimable value of each individual. It is used to greet and honor our fellow beings. The new YourSPARKS.com definition of the word is as follows:
“As I acknowledge and honor the sparks within myself,
so do I acknowledge and honor the sparks within you.
I honor the sparks in you in which the entire universe dwells.
I honor the sparks in you which are of love, light and laughter.
When you are in that place in you, and
I am in that place in me,
we are sharing our sparks, and
we are warming each other.
We are one passionate fire of life,
we are one,
we are the source of sparks,
we are the source of life.”
